I understand that a $2 part is not worth your time, however a satisfied customer is worth every extra time you put towards it. Just think if you would have just sent this guy the part, then you wouldn't have gotten 100's of people reading how crappy your policy is. Remember a single bad customer experience tells at least 20 people about the bad experience, where as a single good customer experience only tells 1. (These numbers may not be completely accurate as it has been 7 or 8 years since I had my customer service classes, but you get the statistics) Aaron
